South Korea Acquires 50,000 Tons of Wheat from the USA at Auction

South Korean milling companies have entered into an agreement to purchase 50,000 tons of milling wheat of American origin. Following the auction held on November 7, the grain was purchased from United Grain under FOB delivery terms.

Details of the Purchase of Various Wheat Grades
- 24,670 tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with a protein content of 9.5–11% at a price of $232.53 per ton;
- 2,780 tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with a protein content of up to 9% at a price of $242.33 per ton;
- 10,405 tons of hard red winter wheat (HRW) with a protein content of at least 11.5% at a price of $246.37 per ton;
- 12,145 tons of northern dark spring wheat (DNS) with a protein content of at least 14% at a price of $261.11 per ton.
Shipping Terms and Conditions
According to the tender conditions, the shipment of the entire wheat batch is scheduled for the period from January 15 to February 15, 2026.
