South Korea Signs New Contracts for Importing Feed Corn

The South Korean feed market continues to actively purchase feed corn to ensure stable supplies in 2025. On May 6, the Korea Feed Association (KFA) purchased 65,000 tons of feed corn from Dreyfus under a private agreement. The purchase price was $247.99 C&F, with an additional unloading fee at the second port of $1.25 per ton. This batch of corn is expected to arrive in South Korea by August 20, 2025.

Purchases by Other South Korean Companies

Additionally, major feed producer Major Feedmill Group (MFG) has also made purchases of feed corn with deliveries scheduled between August 5 and August 20, 2025. The main suppliers are:

  • Mitsui – 65,000 tons at $243.3 per ton
  • CHS – 65,000 to 70,000 tons at $248.4 per ton
  • ADM – 66,000 tons at $242.97 per ton
  • Bunge – 66,000 tons at $243.3 per ton

The terms of the contracts include the same unloading fee at the second port – $1.25 per ton.
