South Korean Company ITOXI Invests in Glass Production in Ukraine

The South Korean company ITOXI is making significant investments in two modern glass factories located in Ukraine, which is an important step for the development of the country’s industrial potential. The investment project is being implemented in partnership with the Ukrainian developer City One Development and involves the construction of two industrial parks — “Glass City” in Beryslav, Kyiv region, and “Galicia” in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

A memorandum on long-term cooperation has already been signed between the parties. The strategic partnership aims to develop the production of high-quality glass, which will be a crucial step in strengthening Ukraine’s industrial potential. The establishment of modern factories in two regions will allow for the implementation of advanced technologies, create new jobs, and enhance the country’s competitiveness in the global market.
Plans and Timelines for Production Launch
According to ITOXI’s CEO Alex Cheon, the process of formalizing the documentation for acquiring the company’s stake in this project is currently underway. The commissioning of the first factory in the Kyiv region is scheduled for 2027, while the second one in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, is expected in 2028.
The capacity of the first factory is expected to produce up to 600 tons of glass per day, and the total project cost is estimated at 140 million USD. This is a significant step forward for Ukrainian industry aimed at increasing product exports and attracting investments to the regions.
