The AGROTRADE Group has identified the main priorities and approaches for shaping the sowing structure for the 2026 season, based on a comprehensive analysis of weather factors, results from previous years, the economics of cultivation, and market conditions. The company’s goal is to achieve maximum profitability from each hectare through an optimal combination of crops and modern technological solutions.

Sowing Area Structure and Changes in the Crop Portfolio

In 2026, the sowing structure of the AGROTRADE Group is as follows:

  • Sunflower — 28.6%
  • Corn — 24.9%
  • Winter Wheat — 19.3%
  • Winter Rapeseed — 13.8%
  • Soybean — 7.3%
  • Flax — 3.3%
  • Winter Barley — 1.6%
  • Winter Pea — 0.7%
  • Industrial Hemp — 0.4%

Compared to the previous season, new niche crops have emerged in the sowing structure, particularly flax and winter pea, aimed at expanding the agricultural portfolio and diversifying income sources. The area under soybean has been slightly reduced, while the volumes of sunflower and corn cultivation have increased. The main focus is on high-margin crops, especially sunflower and winter rapeseed.

Technological Transformation and Efficiency Improvement

In the new season, the company continues to implement technological innovations to enhance production efficiency and the sustainability of the agribusiness. In particular, the key directions include:

  • Reducing soil cultivation intensity
  • Almost complete abandonment of traditional plowing
  • Transition to direct seeding
  • Reducing the number of machinery passes over the field
  • Implementing cover crops and organic fertilizers
  • Developing Strip-Till technology, which helps retain moisture, protect soil from erosion, and effectively manage crop residues

The Chief Agronomist of the AGROTRADE Group, Hennadiy Malyi, noted:

“We have ambitious plans for the season: compared to previous years, we have increased the average projected yield by 0.17–0.79 t/ha depending on the crop. At the same time, we have updated our approaches to plant protection and nutrition. With favorable weather conditions, we expect strong results.”

In the 2026 season, the AGROTRADE Group is betting on realizing the full potential of crops through the implementation of modern technologies, precise planning, and rational management of production processes.
