The Ukrainian soybean market is experiencing a moderate decline in prices, driven by an increase in offers from farmers who are actively preparing for the planting season.

Processors of genetically modified soybeans have announced demand prices averaging between 16800-17000 UAH/ton CPT. At the same time, the export market for soybeans saw a slight strengthening of prices — reaching 384-394 $/ton CPT-ports (genetically modified soy). In some cases, demand prices were recorded at levels starting from 380 $/ton CPT-port.

Demand prices for non-GMO soybeans ranged between 423-425 $/ton CPT-ports.

“However, pressure on the soybean market continued to be exerted by the conditions of the global market for this crop: active harvesting of soybeans in Brazil and improved production forecasts in Argentina following the rains, which led Ukrainian companies to raise prices cautiously,” analysts concluded.
