Before Easter, an ancient bell from the 19th century was returned to operation in the village of Dobrotove in the Sumy region. It has been raised again to the local bell tower, symbolizing the spiritual unity and historical memory of the community. This bell holds historical significance as it was previously used to call the congregation of the Dobrotiv Church, which was one of the prominent spiritual centers of the region. The metal surface retains carved images, icons, and depictions of angels. According to Viktor Lechman, “the 19th-century bell rings again over Dobrotove — it is the voice of faith, unity, and hope.”

The installation of the ancient bell took place just before the Easter holidays, marking an important event for the local community. He expressed his gratitude for the assistance in returning the bell to the village elder Svitlana Zavhorodnia, the head of the agricultural enterprise “Obriy” Volodymyr Zavhorodnyi, Father Vladyslav, and the residents who contributed to the restoration of this historical monument.
