Sunflower Prices in Ukraine Decreased by 500–700 UAH per Ton

The decline in sunflower oil prices on the global market has led to a drop in the value of sunflowers in Ukraine, as reported by brokers from Spike Brokers. Over the past week, sunflower prices have decreased by an average of 500–700 UAH per ton.

Additional pressure on the market comes from the fact that many processors are already supplied with raw materials until the end of April. On the spot market, the price of sunflower oil has fallen to 1105-1115 USD per ton DAP port.
“In recent weeks, the market has changed direction several times — from growth to decline — which intensifies the feeling of instability,” noted the brokers.
Recent indications for the 2024 harvest suggest a price of DAP Ukraine (plant) 48% at around 550-565 USD per ton. For the 2025 harvest, the price of DAP Ukraine (plant) 48% is approximately 520-535 USD per ton.
Further trends in the grain and oilseed market in Ukraine and the Black Sea region will be discussed at the 23rd International Conference, which will take place on April 24 in Kyiv. This event will serve as a platform for strategic discussions and networking among industry leaders.
