Sunflower: The Main Driver of Growth

The area planted is expected to be around 6 million hectares, with an average yield estimated at 2.40 tons per hectare.
Trends in Soybean and Rapeseed Production
For soybeans, the projected harvest volume for the 2025/26 marketing year is 6.6 million tons, which represents a 6% decrease compared to last year. This reduction is due to a decrease in planted area to 2.6 million hectares, although the yield is expected to be slightly higher at 2.54 tons per hectare.
Rapeseed production, according to USDA estimates, will also decline to 2.85 million tons, which is 3% less than last year. The area planted with this crop will decrease to 1.3 million hectares, with an average yield of 2.85 tons per hectare.
