On October 27, around 5:00 PM, a large fire broke out in the city of Buchach, Ternopil region, resulting in the complete destruction of an agricultural combine harvester. This is the second case of a combine fire in the region within one week.

Details of the Incident in Chortkiv Region

The information about the machinery fire was released by the regional State Emergency Service. The fire spread to the combine so quickly that, according to rescuers, they were unable to save the machine. Specialists are currently determining the causes of the fire and assessing the material damages incurred by the owner of the agricultural equipment.

“Unfortunately, the fire completely destroyed the agricultural machinery,” the report states.

Machinery Fires: Recurring Incidents in the Region

A similar incident occurred in Ternopil region a few days ago, on October 23, in the village of Burkaniv, Ternopil district. At that time, thanks to the prompt actions of the rescuers, the fire was extinguished, preventing the complete destruction of the combine.

The local authorities emphasize the need to adhere to the operational rules for agricultural machinery, especially during the autumn fieldwork, to avoid similar emergencies.
