Key Features of the DocPort System
The DocPort system offers a range of advantages that will improve port operations and reduce queues and downtime. In particular, it includes:
- Electronic permit processing — significantly reducing bureaucratic procedures for entering the port;
- Queue reduction — allowing trucks to pass through more quickly and avoid delays;
- Minimization of downtime — contributing to increased throughput;
- Queue control and rapid response to emergencies, enhancing safety and efficiency;
- Improved service quality for all market participants.
The Future of Digital Logistics in Ukrainian Ports
“We are building infrastructure that meets real challenges — military, economic, and logistical. The creation of digital tools like DocPort is an investment in the future competitiveness of Ukrainian ports, the efficiency of logistics, and the transparency of processes,” said Oleksandr Semyrha, head of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.” According to him, the system operates on the principle of “controlled entry” and is completely free for all market participants.
It is worth noting that the DocPort system for managing vehicle traffic has already been implemented at the Port of Odesa, significantly improving logistics processes and increasing the investment attractiveness of the region.
