Turkey Purchased 250,000 Tons of Feed Barley in International Tender
The Turkish Grain Agency (TMO) organized an international tender for the purchase of feed barley on October 30, during which the planned volume of 250,000 tons was acquired. The selection of winners took place among four companies that received contracts for the supply of grain to various ports in the country.

Main Winners and Tender Prices
As part of the tender, Tarimex will supply 25,000 tons of barley at a price of $254.8 per ton on EXW Iskenderun terms, as well as 10,000 tons at $252.8 per ton on an EXW Samsun, Trabzon, and Giresun basis (10,000 and 5,000 tons respectively).
Team Agro offered 25,000 tons of feed barley for sale at a price of $257.9 per ton on a C&F Adana basis.
The company Bunge won contracts to supply 25,000 tons at a price of $258.7 on C&F Bandirma terms, 50,000 tons at $258.9 on C&F Izmir, 25,000 tons at $262.0 on C&F Mersin, and 25,000 tons at $264.8 on EXW Iskenderun.
Yayla Agro will deliver 25,000 tons of barley at $265.6 on EXW Bandirma and another 25,000 tons at $263.3 on EXW Tekirdag.
Delivery Terms and Tender Features
“According to the tender conditions, delivery will take place from November 10 to December 10.”
Thus, Turkey has signed contracts with leading traders, ensuring stability in the domestic feed barley market for the upcoming month. The participation of several companies contributed to the formation of competitive prices for grain depending on the port of shipment and delivery terms.
