Ukraine exported 95% of wheat under the memorandum in the 2024/25 marketing year

As of June 13, 2025, Ukraine has exported 39.6 million tons of grains and legumes in the current 2024/25 marketing year. This figure is 8.8 million tons, or 18%, lower compared to the same period last season.

Export dynamics of main crops
A total of 15.4 million tons of wheat have been sent to foreign markets, which constitutes 95% of the volume agreed upon in the grain memorandum, which allows for 16.2 million tons of exports. At the same time, this is 14% less than the same period last year.
The export volume of barley amounted to 2.3 million tons, which is 5% lower compared to the corresponding period of the previous season. Meanwhile, rye shipments have significantly increased: 10.8 thousand tons were dispatched, which is seven times more than last year (1.6 thousand tons).
Exports of corn totaled 21.3 million tons, which is 23% less than what was exported by this date last season.
Flour export figures and reference information
Flour shipments from Ukraine amounted to 67.5 thousand tons, which is 29% lower compared to the same period last year.
“In the 2023/24 marketing year, the export of grains and legumes amounted to 50.8 million tons: wheat — 18.4 million tons; barley — 2.5 million tons; rye — 1.6 thousand tons; corn — 29.4 million tons; flour — 98.2 thousand tons.”
