Ukrainian Corn Exports in the 2025/26 Marketing Year Reach Nearly 12 Million Tons

As of March 6, 2026, Ukraine has recorded an export of 22.819 million tons of grains and legumes within the 2025/26 marketing year. This figure is 6.789 million tons, or 22.9%, lower than the same period last year.
Export Dynamics of Major Grain Crops
The most significant decrease in exports is observed in wheat: 9.218 million tons were supplied to foreign markets, which is 2.897 million tons, or 23.9%, less than a year ago.
Barley exports during this period amounted to 1.361 million tons, which is 35.9% less compared to the corresponding period last year. Rye exports totaled 0.2 thousand tons.
Indicators of Corn and Flour Exports
Ukrainian corn remains one of the key export products. Its export volume was 11.931 million tons, which is 2.993 million tons, or 20.05%, lower than in the previous season.
“Additionally, 44.4 thousand tons of flour were sent abroad (or 59.2 thousand tons in grain equivalent), which is 4.6 thousand tons or 9.4% less than last year.”
Overall, there is a noticeable decline in the volumes of Ukrainian grain and legume exports compared to the previous marketing year.
