Reasons for the Decrease in Exports
“As of June 11, in the 2024/2025 marketing year, Ukraine exported 39 million 256 thousand tons of grains and legumes, which is 9 million 125 thousand tons or 23.2% less than last year.”
The decrease in supply volumes is associated with a number of factors, including unfavorable weather conditions, logistical challenges, and changes in global grain markets. Despite the reduction in exports, Ukraine remains one of the leading grain exporters in the world.
