Ukrainian Grain Exports in the 2025/26 Marketing Year Decreased by Nearly 28%
As of January 28, 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine exported 18.425 million tons of grains and legumes. This figure is 7.091 million tons or 27.8% lower compared to the same period last year.

Decrease in Exports of Major Grain Crops
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 8.39 million tons, which is 2.354 million tons or 21.1% less than last season. Barley exports also fell, totaling 1.333 million tons, which is 35.4% lower compared to the corresponding period in 2024. Rye shipments remain minimal, with only 0.2 thousand tons exported.
Dynamics of Corn and Flour Exports
Export figures for corn also show a decline: Ukrainian farmers sent 8.404 million tons of this crop abroad, which is 3.88 million tons or 31.6% less than last year’s figure. Additionally, 37.8 thousand tons of flour (equivalent to 50.4 thousand tons of grain) were exported, which is 5.7 thousand tons or 13.1% less than in 2024.
As of January 28, 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine exported 18 million 425 thousand tons of grains and legumes, which is 7 million 091 thousand tons or 27.8% less than last year.
