After halting production due to damage, the company’s owner, Serhiy Zavhorodnyuk, actively sought modern Western European technologies for recovery and development. Marcelissen provided a demonstration model of the grinding line with the support of a grant from the Dutch government. The new equipment has a capacity of 3 tons per hour and significantly exceeds previous capabilities.
In addition to the grinding machine, the following equipment was supplied to the enterprise:
- a drum knife-grinder for processing potatoes and other root vegetables,
- a screw conveyor for uniform raw material feeding,
- a stone and sand remover,
- a water buffer system with a conveyor,
- an inspection belt for quality control of products,
- electronic scales with a water buffer for packaging.
According to Serhiy Zavhorodnyuk, “
“The machines are excellent, and the control panel is extremely user-friendly. The first hours of production went successfully”.

Development Prospects and Experience for Other Producers
The ‘Reno’ plant is already operating at full capacity and is currently focused on the domestic market. In the future, the company plans to expand into export. In addition to its production activities, the enterprise serves as a demonstration platform for other Ukrainian processors. Colleagues from various regions visit the enterprise to learn about modern technologies and implement them in their own productions.
