Ukrainian Snail Exports Reached $5.5 Million in the First Nine Months of 2025
From January to September 2025, Ukraine exported 811 tons of mollusks, which is a 10.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. At the same time, in monetary terms, exports increased by 10% to $5.5 million.

Main Markets for Ukrainian Mollusks
During the first three quarters of 2025, the largest consumers of Ukrainian mollusks remained Lithuania (70.4% of total exports), Spain (17.6%), and Romania (5.7%). This indicates a stable demand for Ukrainian products in the European Union markets.

Trends in Mollusk Imports to Ukraine
Mollusk imports in the first nine months of 2025 reached 4,400 tons, which is a 4.8% increase compared to the same period last year. The country spent $19.3 million on purchasing mollusks abroad, which is 27% higher than the expenditures for the three quarters of 2024.
The main suppliers of mollusks to the Ukrainian market from January to September this year were China (30.7% of imports), Chile (24.5%), and France (16.5%). This import structure indicates a diversification of supply sources and a growing demand for mollusks among Ukrainian consumers.
