Main Markets and Supply Geography
The European Union remained the leading destination for Ukrainian soybean meal, accounting for 71% of total exports. Significant volumes were also sent to Turkey and Egypt — approximately 16,000 tons and 11,000 tons, respectively. An important event was the resumption of supplies to China after a year-long pause: in November, about 1,000 tons of soybean meal were exported to this country, marking only the second instance of exports in this direction.
Export Dynamics and Price Situation
From September to November 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine has already exported 391,000 tons of soybean meal, which is more than double the volumes of the same period in the previous season. Increased demand from the EU positively impacted prices: in October–November, purchase prices for soybean meal under DAP terms at the western border reached the highest levels since the beginning of the year, reaching $365–385 per ton.
“In total, from September to November 2025/26 marketing year, the country has already exported 391,000 tons of soybean meal, which is more than double the figure for the same period last season.”
