Ukrzaliznytsia Increased Grain Transportation in January 2026
JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” demonstrated an increase in grain cargo transportation volumes in January 2026.

Grain Transportation Statistics at the Beginning of the Year
During the first 13 days of January 2026, 1.186 million tons of grain were transported on the Ukrzaliznytsia network. This is an increase of 2.9% compared to the same period in December 2025. However, compared to January of last year, the unloading volumes decreased by 13%.
Export Dynamics and Average Daily Indicators
In the export direction, grain transportation also showed a decline compared to last year. In the first 13 days of January, 1.065 million tons were exported, which is 11% less than during this period in 2025. However, this figure is almost unchanged from December’s indicators, decreasing by only 0.1%.
“The decrease compared to the same period last year was also observed in grain transportation for export — down by 11%, to 1.065 million tons. However, compared to December 2025, this is only 0.1% less,” the report states.
The average daily loading of grain in January 2026 is 73.9 thousand tons, which is only 0.5% less than in December.
