This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, via the Facebook platform.
Fedorov noted that early grains and legumes have already begun to be sown in the region, including spring barley, wheat, oats, and peas. Soil preparation for late crops is also underway, with plans to sow corn, millet, sunflower, and soybeans on an area of over 95,300 hectares.
He also reminded that winter grains for the 2025 harvest have already been sown on an area of 100,800 hectares.
“The need of residents in the Ukrainian-controlled territory of the Zaporizhzhia region for food grains for the production of bread, flour, cereals, and oil will be met through local resources.”
