Situation in the Currency Exchange Market
Wholesale exchange offices continue to set spreads within 15–20 kopecks for major currencies. This policy helps to avoid sharp fluctuations in rates and ensures predictability for market participants.
Forecast for the Dollar and Euro Rates
Analyst Oleksiy Kozyrev predicts that on Sunday, November 9, the cash exchange rate for the dollar in most exchange offices will remain within 41.65–41.90 UAH for buying and 42.10–42.30 UAH for selling. As for the euro, it is expected that its rate will be in the range of 48.50–48.70 UAH for buying and 48.75–49.00 UAH for selling.
“For the dollar, a spread (the difference between buying and selling currency, – UNIAN) will be set within 20-25 kopecks, while for the euro it will be within 20-30 kopecks. Wholesale exchange offices will continue to operate with a spread of 15-20 kopecks for both currencies,” Kozyrev concluded.
Thus, market participants can expect moderate fluctuations and transparent conditions for conducting currency transactions in the coming days.
