Vegan Apple Galette Recipe
Ingredients:
- For the dough:
- 200 g flour
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 60 ml boiling water
- 50 ml oil
- For the filling:
- 3 apples
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Preparation Method
First, add salt, sugar, and baking powder to the flour, then mix everything thoroughly. Next, pour in the oil and boiling water, and knead a firm dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
For the filling, peel and core the apples, slice them, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, and then mix.
After that, roll out the dough into a circle on parchment paper. Place the apples in the center, leaving about 5 cm from the edges. Fold the edges of the dough towards the center and brush them with oil.
Transfer the galette along with the parchment to a baking sheet and place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Once ready, dust the galette with powdered sugar.
