Dollar and Euro Exchange Rate: Forecast for the Coming Days

Significant fluctuations in the exchange rates for the dollar and euro are observed in the currency market of Ukraine. Analysts note that in the coming days, the dollar exchange rate will fluctuate within a wide range due to various factors.

According to the forecasts of analyst Oleksiy Kozyrev, on Saturday, April 5, the dollar exchange rate at most exchange offices and open bank branches will range from 40.75 to 40.90 UAH per dollar for buying and from 40.95 to 41.20 UAH per dollar for selling. This indicates that high volatility remains in the market.

Euro Exchange Rate Forecast

The euro exchange rate, according to the expert’s estimates, will also experience significant fluctuations, ranging from 44.80 to 45.35 UAH per euro for buying and from 45.40 to 45.75 UAH for selling. Oleksiy Kozyrev emphasizes that there are large discrepancies in the exchange rates in the Ukrainian market, which may influence citizens’ decisions regarding currency purchases.

Market Impact

The expert notes that some exchange offices may try to take advantage of the rising euro rate by offering it for sale at levels of up to 46 hryvnias and above. However, if citizens do not actively buy such “expensive” euro currency, financiers may revert their euro selling rates to market average levels to retain customers.

“If citizens do not buy such an ‘expensive’ euro, financiers will start reverting their euro selling rates to market averages for their region starting Sunday, in order not to lose clientele,” the analyst noted.
