Dollar and Euro Exchange Rates at PrivatBank Increased: Current Values as of December 11

On Thursday, December 11, PrivatBank raised the exchange rates of major foreign currencies against the hryvnia. The cost of the US dollar for cash transactions at the bank increased by 23 kopecks, reaching 42.58 hryvnias per dollar. The euro rose by 35 kopecks and now stands at 49.80 hryvnias per euro.

For clients wishing to sell dollars, the bank’s rate is 41.98 hryvnias per unit of currency. Euros can be sold for 48.80 hryvnias per unit.

Card Transactions: Current Rates

The dollar rate for payments made with a card at PrivatBank increased by 18 kopecks and currently stands at 42.37 hryvnias. The euro for card payments on December 11 rose by 24 kopecks, reaching a level of 49.75 hryvnias.

The dollar rate for card payments at the bank is 42.55 UAH, and the euro is 49.75 UAH.

Thus, there is a gradual increase in the value of major foreign currencies in banking operations, affecting both cash and card transactions.
