Dynamics of the Hryvnia to Dollar Exchange Rate
As of the trading results on March 3, the official hryvnia exchange rate updated its minimum indicators for the first time in a week: on March 4, it was 43 hryvnias 45.48 kopecks per dollar. Thus, the trend of weakening the national currency has persisted for several consecutive days.
Interbank Market and Previous Changes
According to Bloomberg, on March 4, trading on the interbank foreign exchange market closed at 43 hryvnias 90 kopecks per dollar. This indicates continued pressure on the hryvnia in the banking sector.

For over 14 months prior to that moment, the official rate had remained stable at 36 hryvnias 57 kopecks per dollar.
“The official exchange rate has updated the hryvnia’s minimum against the dollar for the second consecutive time this week.”
