Dollar to Hryvnia Exchange Rate Reaches Record Low — NBU Data for March 2026
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official dollar exchange rate at 43 Hryvnias 89.61 Kopecks as of March 10. This marks yet another historical low for the national currency against the US dollar in the past month.

New Anti-Record for the Hryvnia in March 2026
The last update of the historical minimum occurred after trading ended on March 3, when the dollar exchange rate the following day was 43 Hryvnias 45.48 Kopecks. This was the first instance since January 2026 when the Hryvnia faced pressure in the currency market and set a new record for its decline.

Dynamics of the Interbank Market and Previous Exchange Rate Values
According to data from the financial agency Bloomberg, trading on the Ukrainian interbank currency market on March 9 ended at 43 Hrynias 93 Kopecks per dollar. This further confirms the trend of continued weakening of the Hryvnia amid increased demand for foreign currency.
It is worth noting that until October 3, 2023, the official exchange rate of the national currency remained stable for over 14 months, holding at 36 Hrynias 57 Kopecks per dollar since July 21, 2022. After that, a gradual increase in the official exchange rate occurred, leading to the current historical lows.
