EBRD Considers Financing Opportunities for Aquaculture Enterprises in Ukraine

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has begun analyzing financing opportunities for domestic enterprises operating in the aquaculture sector. This initiative creates additional financial prospects for companies interested in developing modern fisheries.

Who Can Apply for Financing

Enterprises of any ownership form engaged in the following areas of aquaculture are invited to participate:

• pond aquaculture;
• recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS);
• garden aquaculture;
• mariculture.

How to Apply for Participation in the Program

Interested companies need to prepare a brief description of their activities in English. The collection and processing of information for international partners is carried out by the Methodological and Technological Center for Aquaculture of the State Agency for Fisheries.

Enterprises that meet the specified criteria can take advantage of the opportunity to receive credit support for implementing their own projects in the aquaculture sector.
