Egg Prices in Ukraine Continue to Rise: How Much Does a Pack Cost in November 2025
Ukrainian supermarkets have recorded a significant increase in prices for chicken eggs. The minimum cost of a pack in some retail chains has already reached 84 UAH. Experts note that the price increase, which began in October, will continue into November 2025.

Price Dynamics for Eggs in Different Chains
According to the Ministry of Finance, the average price of a pack of chicken eggs currently ranges from 78.05 to 78.80 UAH. For comparison, on November 4, this figure was between 74.80-75.85 UAH, meaning that in just a few days, the price has increased by several hryvnias. The consumer price index in November reached 103.21%, indicating a 3.21% increase in egg prices compared to October.
An analysis of price offers in the largest supermarkets showed the following picture:
- Varus — 59.90 UAH;
- Silpo — 59.99 UAH;
- Novus — 65.99 UAH;
- Fora — 67.90 UAH;
- Aushan — 69.10 UAH;
- ATB — 72.90 UAH;
- Metro — 74 UAH;
- MegaMarket — 84 UAH.
On November 4, a pack of eggs in MegaMarket cost 78.20 UAH, and within two days, the price rose by almost 6 UAH. A similar trend is observed for eggs sold individually: at the end of October, the price of one egg in Varus was 5.09 UAH, in ATB — 6.29 UAH, in Fora and Novus — 5.99 UAH, in Auchan — 6.20 UAH, and in MegaMarket — 7 UAH.
Reasons for Price Increases and Forecast for Late November
As of November 2025, prices for individual products have risen even more: in ATB — 6.49 UAH/pc., in Varus — 5.29 UAH/pc., in Fora and Novus — 6.29 UAH/pc., in Auchan — 6.60 UAH/pc., in MegaMarket — 7.40 UAH/pc.
According to the head of the analytical direction of the ANTS network, Illia Neskhodovskyi: “By the end of November 2025, chicken eggs may rise in price by another 10%”.
The expert explains that the price increase is due not only to seasonal factors but also to the rising cost of production due to issues with electricity supply. This forces suppliers to revise their price offers and raise the retail price of products. Thus, consumers are already feeling the increase in costs for chicken eggs, and prices may rise even further in the near future.
