Electricity and Gas Tariffs for Households Remain Unchanged from May 2025
In Ukraine, electricity and natural gas tariffs for households will remain unchanged from May 1, 2025. The relevant decisions were made by the Cabinet of Ministers and the company “Naftogaz” to ensure stable energy prices for consumers.

Electricity Tariff: Current Conditions Until the End of October 2025
On April 29, the government approved the extension of the current electricity tariff for residential consumers at 4.32 UAH per kWh. This decision will be in effect at least until October 31, 2025. For owners of two-zone meters, the “night tariff” remains at 2.16 UAH per kWh. According to Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, this step is aimed at supporting the accessibility of electricity amid the challenging energy situation in the country, which has arisen due to extensive destruction and damage to over 10 GW of generating capacity caused by hostile attacks. The minister emphasized that energy workers are currently actively carrying out restoration and repair work across Ukraine.
Gas Tariff: Fixed Price Until April 2026
“Naftogaz” continues to supply gas to households at a price of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. This price will apply to 98% of residential consumers at least until the end of April 2026 under the “Fixed” tariff plan. The company notes that the decision to keep the price unchanged was made in accordance with the existing moratorium on increasing natural gas tariffs, and it also urges consumers to be responsible in their payments.
“The gas supply company ‘Naftogaz of Ukraine’, which is part of the Naftogaz Group, will continue to supply gas to Ukrainian families at the unchanged price of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. This is provided under the ‘Fixed’ tariff plan for residential customers. The price will be valid until April 30, 2026.”
Although other gas suppliers operate in the market, nearly 98% of households are served by “Naftogaz”, ensuring them stability in the cost of blue fuel.
