Which Regions Are Without Power
According to energy specialists, emergency outages have been introduced in Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and partially in Kirovohrad regions. The outages occurred following the latest Russian attacks, which damaged energy equipment and caused localized power supply disruptions.
During emergency outages, previously published power outage schedules are not in effect, and decisions regarding the restoration of electricity supply are made according to the stabilization of the situation in the energy network.
“Emergency outages will be lifted immediately after the stabilization of the situation in the energy system,” the company emphasized.
Restoration Work and Features of Restrictions
Following the night attack on energy facilities that occurred on December 5, the damaged equipment is being urgently repaired, and energy workers are striving to restore electricity supply for all consumers as quickly as possible. Simultaneously, in all regions of the country, due to previous massive missile and drone strikes, power continues to be turned off in rotation. The outages affect between 0.5 and 3 consumer groups, which helps to minimize the load on the energy system.
Separate power limitation schedules are applied for businesses and industrial enterprises. The company emphasizes that the situation in the energy network remains dynamic and can change at any moment, depending on the further development of events and the pace of damage recovery.
