Export Credit Agency Increases Support for Non-Raw Material Exports in 2025
The Export Credit Agency (ECA) provided support for Ukrainian non-raw material exports amounting to 10.43 billion UAH over the past year, which is 1.4 times higher than the figure for 2024, when the volume was 7.53 billion UAH.

According to the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, the ratio of supported exports to insurance liability in 2025 reached 7.36 UAH for every 1 UAH of liability. This demonstrates an increase in the effectiveness of using insurance tools and supporting exporters.
“Last year, with the support of the ECA, 84 loan agreements were insured and 106 export contracts were supported for 75 Ukrainian exporters.”
Leaders Among Regions for Supported Exports
Among the regions of Ukraine, the largest volumes of export support were received by the following areas:
- Lviv Region – 2.64 billion UAH;
- Khmelnytskyi Region – 1.36 billion UAH;
- Ternopil Region – 1.23 billion UAH;
- Volyn Region – 1.14 billion UAH.
Main Markets and Popular Export Products
Over the past year, Ukrainian exporters supplied products to 35 countries worldwide. The largest importers of Ukrainian goods were:
- Poland – 2.73 billion UAH in contracts;
- Austria – 1 billion UAH;
- Czech Republic – 731 million UAH;
- Lithuania – 633 million UAH;
- Germany – 606 million UAH.
Among the product groups that were in the highest demand, the leaders are:
- food products – 2.2 billion UAH;
- wood and wood products – 1.89 billion UAH;
- furniture – 1.5 billion UAH;
- processed vegetable, fruit, and nut products – 952 million UAH;
- alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages – 865 million UAH.
The growth in supported export volumes indicates the strengthening of the positions of Ukrainian non-raw material goods in international markets and the expansion of the geography of cooperation.
