Food Exports from Ukraine Exceeded $20 Billion in the First 11 Months of 2025

According to the results for January-November 2025, Ukraine’s foreign trade turnover reached $112.2 billion. Against this backdrop, food exports from the country exceeded $20 billion, indicating the continued leadership of the agricultural sector in the structure of Ukrainian exports.

Key Indicators of Foreign Trade

According to the State Customs Service, in the first 11 months of 2025, imports of goods into Ukraine amounted to $75.4 billion, while exports totaled $36.8 billion. The main supplier countries remain China with $17 billion, Poland with $7.1 billion, and Germany with $5.9 billion. In terms of exports, the leading destinations are Poland ($4.6 billion), Turkey ($2.5 billion), and Germany ($2.2 billion).

“During January-November 2025, goods worth $75.4 billion were imported into Ukraine, while exports amounted to $36.8 billion,” the agency stated.

Structure of Imports and Exports

In the total volume of imports during this period, the largest share was made up of machinery, equipment, and transport – $30.2 billion (67% of all imported goods along with other major groups). A significant contribution to the structure of imports also came from chemical industry products ($11.4 billion) and fuel and energy products ($9.4 billion).

Regarding exports, the largest volume was provided by food products – $20.4 billion. Additionally, significant revenues came from metals and products made from them ($4.3 billion), as well as machinery, equipment, and transport ($3.4 billion).
