In the central regions, temperatures will fluctuate between +10 and +14 °C, while in Vinnytsia, they will settle at +7 to +11 °C. The western regions will be cooler, with temperatures of +9 to +12 °C, although in Volyn and Rivne, a warm pocket will be observed with temperatures up to +12 to +16 °C. The lowest temperatures are forecasted in the north, where only +7 to +9 °C is expected during the day.

In Kyiv on April 2nd, damp weather with rain is anticipated. Tomorrow, the capital will experience strong gusty winds and low temperatures down to +9 °C. Closer to Friday, temperatures in the cooler regions will rise, but by Saturday, the western areas, and on Sunday, April 6th, a cold air mass will cover almost the entire territory of Ukraine.

“The cold weather next week will intensify, accompanied by possible night frosts, increased wind, and wet snow. The forecast is preliminary and will require clarification, so, as always, we will closely monitor the daily developments of the synoptic situation,” noted Natalka Didenko.

Additionally, it is worth noting that moisture reserves in the upper layers of soil across most of Ukraine remain extremely low.
