From March 1, 2026, prices for logistics services at the Transport Logistics Center will increase

Starting March 1, 2026, the branch “Transport Logistics Center” of the joint-stock company “Ukrzaliznytsia” will implement a price indexation for a range of works and services related to freight transportation. The changes will affect services provided at free rates. The basis for the tariff revision was the actual producer price index for the fourth quarter of 2025, which amounted to 107.7% compared to the previous quarter. Accordingly, the new prices will take effect at the beginning of March.

List of services subject to tariff increases

The increase will apply to the following logistics and related services:

• declaration of transit cargo at border transfer stations;
• information services related to transportation;
• use of the payer code usage control system;
• use of the carrier’s own transporters “Ukrzaliznytsia”;
• comprehensive service for providing empty wagons from the carrier for loading at the Reni, Giurgiulești (Moldova), and Galați (Romania) stations;
• transportation and forwarding services;
• escort of transporters with a special wagon and escort crew;
• use of a service-technical wagon, modified for transporting military guards with escort.

Reasons for the cost indexation

The indexation is based on the actual producer price index for the IV quarter of 2025 (compared to the previous quarter), which amounted to 107.7%, and the new prices will be effective from this date.

Thus, businesses utilizing the services of the Transport Logistics Center should anticipate an increase in costs for logistics and related services starting in early spring 2026.
