Necessary Ingredients for Preparing the Wings

  • 1.5 kg chicken wings
  • 10–15 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 150 ml soy sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp sweet paprika

Step-by-Step Preparation of the Dish

First, separate the chicken wings at the joints into three parts. It is recommended to set aside the tips that have no meat, as they may burn during baking.

Add minced or crushed garlic, honey, soy sauce, and sweet paprika to the prepared wings. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly so that the marinade evenly coats the meat. Let the wings marinate at room temperature for about one hour for better flavor absorption.

After marinating, place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven for 35 minutes at a temperature of 160 °C. After that, turn the wings over and cook for another 35 minutes.

When there are 5 minutes left of baking, brush the wings with the remaining marinade and place them under the grill to achieve a delicious caramel crust.

As a result, you will have tender wings with a slight hint of garlic and a sweet-salty flavor from the honey-soy marinade. Thanks to the slow baking, the meat easily separates from the bone, and the crust becomes crispy and golden brown.
