Hryvnia Strengthens Against Dollar and Euro: Current Exchange Rates as of May 29

The National Bank of Ukraine has set new official exchange rates for foreign currencies for Thursday, May 29. According to updated data, the positions of the hryvnia have strengthened against both the US dollar and the euro.

The official exchange rate of the US dollar on May 29 is set at 41.59 UAH per dollar, indicating a strengthening of the hryvnia by 9 kopecks compared to the previous figure. A similar situation is observed with the European currency — the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro is set at 47.08 UAH per euro, meaning the hryvnia has strengthened by 23 kopecks.
Dynamics in the Interbank Currency Market
The exchange rate of the hryvnia in the interbank currency market of Ukraine as of 16:00 was 41.55/41.58 UAH per dollar, while the euro rate was 47.02/47.04 UAH per euro.
Thus, the hryvnia demonstrates resilience and a gradual strengthening of its position in the currency market.
