Jordan Cancels Tenders for Barley and Wheat Purchases in October 2025

The Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade canceled the tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed barley from any country of origin on October 8. The company Bunge participated in this tender.

The Next Barley Tender Scheduled for October

A new tender for the same amount of feed barley (120,000 tons) with deliveries scheduled from November 16 to December 15 is expected to take place on October 15.

Cancellation of the Wheat Tender and Future Plans

Additionally, on October 7, the Jordanian ministry also canceled the tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat from any origin. Five companies were involved in this tender: CHS, Cargill, Al Dahra, Ameropa, and Cofco.

The next attempt to purchase 120,000 tons of wheat will take place on October 14. Shipment is scheduled for January-February 2026.
