Egg Production in Ukraine in January 2026: Incubation Statistics and Trends
In January 2026, Ukrainian enterprises set 22 million eggs from meat breed chickens for incubation to obtain broiler chicks intended for fattening.

In total, in the first month of the current year, 24.3 million eggs from domestic poultry, including quail and duck eggs, were sent for incubation. This figure illustrates the activity of Ukrainian agrarians in the poultry sector, particularly in the direction of expanding meat poultry production.
Total Egg Production
According to official statistics, in January 2026, enterprises and households produced 882.7 million eggs from domestic poultry. This is 12.3% more than in the same period last year. Notably, enterprises accounted for the main increase, producing 616.8 million eggs, which is 22.6% higher than the figure for January 2025.
