Over 100,000 Chickens and Turkeys Destroyed in Poland Due to Avian Influenza
In the Iława County area of Poland, three outbreaks of avian influenza have been recorded. Infected farms were forced to carry out mass culling of livestock: a total of over 100,000 birds have been destroyed, including more than 31,000 turkeys and over 72,000 chickens.
