Forecast for Egg Price Increase in 2026
Experts predict further price increases for eggs in 2026. According to economist Volodymyr Chyzh, several key factors will influence price formation:
- Significant increase in electricity costs for producers.
- Rising prices for poultry feed.
The expert emphasized that under such conditions, eggs could become more expensive by at least 15%. Additionally, seasonal factors and logistics will impact the price situation. This is especially true during holiday periods when there is increased demand and price dynamics.
“For example, due to Easter in April, prices may temporarily rise. Then they may decrease in the summer,” the message states.
