Procurement Prices for Pork in Ukraine Will Rise to 83 UAH/kg in April 2026

Next week, further increases in procurement prices for live pigs are expected in Ukraine. According to forecasts, the price will rise to 82-83 UAH per kilogram, which is 1 UAH more compared to the current week.

What Trends Are Observed in European Markets?

Alongside the Ukrainian market, changes in pork prices are also noted in European countries. At the German VEZG exchange, the price for conditioned pig carcasses is projected to be 1.70 euros per kilogram (86.19 UAH/kg) next week, while the price for sow carcasses is expected to be 0.93 euros per kilogram (47.15 UAH/kg), both figures excluding VAT.

Polish Market: Average Prices and Expert Expectations

At the Polish CennikRolnicze exchange, the average price for live pigs will be 5.48 zlotys per kilogram (64.39 UAH/kg). Experts note that the price range for live pigs will fluctuate between 4.50 and 6.10 zlotys per kilogram, equivalent to 52.88-71.67 UAH/kg.

“Procurement prices for live pigs in Ukraine will rise to 82-83 UAH/kg next week (+1 UAH/kg compared to the current week).”

The increase in pork prices in Ukraine and Europe is linked to market demand and seasonal factors affecting the formation of procurement costs for meat.
