The Poultry Population in Ukraine Decreased in October 2025
As of October 1, 2025, Ukraine recorded a decrease in the poultry population to 209.3 million heads, which is 2.4% less compared to the previous month.

Dynamics of Poultry Numbers in Agricultural Enterprises and Households
According to official statistical data, agricultural enterprises in the country held 113.5 million heads of poultry, showing a slight increase of 0.4% during September. Meanwhile, in household farms, the situation is the opposite: the number of poultry has significantly decreased. During September, the poultry population here decreased by 5.5% and currently stands at 95.8 million heads.
Features of Statistical Data Accounting
It is worth noting that the figures reported by the State Statistics Service do not account for the temporarily occupied territories by Russia, as well as regions where hostilities are ongoing or have occurred. Accordingly, the total figure may be incomplete regarding the actual situation across the entire country.
The State Statistics Service notes that the data provided do not consider the temporarily occupied territories of the Russian Federation and parts of territories where hostilities are (were) taking place.
