The Poultry Population in Ukraine Decreased by 2.4% in September 2025

As of October 1, 2025, the number of poultry in Ukraine was 209.3 million heads, which is a 2.4% decrease compared to the previous month.

Dynamics of Change in Different Categories of Farms

According to the latest statistical data, agricultural enterprises held 113.5 million heads, showing an increase of 0.4% during September. At the same time, there was a significant reduction in the number of poultry in household farms: their total flock decreased by 5.5% to 95.8 million heads.

It is worth noting that these figures do not include data from temporarily occupied territories by Russia, as well as from regions where hostilities are ongoing or have occurred.

The State Statistics Service notes that the data provided does not account for the temporarily occupied territories of the Russian Federation and parts of territories where hostilities are (were) taking place.
