The State Agricultural Register Has Suspended the Acceptance of Applications for Livestock Subsidies

The State Agricultural Register has temporarily suspended the acceptance of applications from Ukrainian agricultural producers who planned to receive a special budget subsidy for maintaining cows, as well as breeding stock of goats and/or sheep.

Reasons for Suspending Application Acceptance

According to the explanation from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, this decision was made because the volume of submitted applications has already reached the total available funding provided for in the Grant Agreement between Ukraine, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the International Development Association.

Future of Submitted Applications

“Submitted applications will be processed in accordance with established procedures,” the ministry stated.

Further information regarding the resumption of application acceptance or changes in the conditions for receiving subsidies will be announced additionally. All farmers who have already submitted applications can expect them to be reviewed according to the existing procedures.
