Most Productive Dairy Farms and Record Holders of the Year
The results of the ranking were officially announced during the XVII International Dairy Congress, which took place on October 17-18, 2025. This year, winners were determined in three categories:
- TOP-20 Dairy Farms in Ukraine — the most productive dairy enterprises;
- Highest Lifetime Productivity — five record-holding cows in the country;
- Special Award “Hope of the Industry” — for animals with outstanding average milk yield per lactation, which may become record holders in the future.
Resilience and Achievements of the Ukrainian Dairy Sector
Despite the challenging conditions of wartime, Ukrainian dairy farms are demonstrating high standards of efficiency, implementing modern technologies, and continuously increasing productivity. As of early 2025, the average milk yield per cow in industrial farms was 8,167 kg/year. This is 20% higher than the figures from 2021.
More than half of the participants in the TOP-20 category exceeded the figure of 12,000 kg/cow/year, and the leader of the ranking — LLC “Ukraine” — surpassed the mark of 13,500 kg/cow/year! Such results have been made possible through precise management, genetic progress, professional staff, and a high level of animal welfare.
The organizers emphasize that participation in the ranking is voluntary, so the number of high-performing farms in Ukraine is significantly greater than those represented in this year’s list. Farms that have not yet joined are encouraged to submit applications for participation in the next ranking.
The tradition of the annual “Dairy Records of Ukraine” continues — preparations for “Dairy Records of Ukraine–2026” are already underway!
The Milk Producers Association congratulates the winners of the ranking and wishes them to maintain and enhance their achievements in the further development of the industry.
