Transcarpathian Farm Begins Feed Production with First Silos

This is reported by AgroReview
At a farm in the Transcarpathian region that specializes in poultry farming, a large-scale project has been launched to start its own feed production. To this end, the enterprise is installing modern facilities for grain storage, which will enable the production of high-quality feed mixtures directly on-site.
Installation of New Grain Storage Bins
As part of the first phase of the project, five metal Sukup silos with conical bottoms, with a total capacity of about 1500 cubic meters, have already been installed on the company’s premises. These bins will store grain raw materials intended for further processing into poultry feed. The use of modern silos will ensure proper grain storage quality and optimize logistical processes at the enterprise.
“The farm in the Transcarpathian region that raises poultry has begun installing grain storage facilities. This is necessary for future feed production,” stated the company “Grain House,” which is implementing this project.
Plans for Further Production Expansion
The company’s immediate plans include expanding the raw material storage capacity. It is planned to install four more Sukup silos with conical bottoms, with a total capacity of nearly 500 cubic meters. This step will allow the farm to improve its own feed base and ensure stability in poultry feed production.
The introduction of new technologies and the expansion of infrastructure at the enterprise will contribute to increased efficiency in farming and the quality of finished products.
