Ukrainian Dairy Company Plans to Double Milk Production by 2026

The “Ukrainian Dairy Company” has announced its intention to significantly increase milk production volumes. By 2026, the enterprise plans to boost its daily processing capacity from 160 to 300 tons.

Plans for the Development of the Livestock Sector

The strategic goals of the company were discussed by the General Director of LLC “Ukrainian Dairy Company,” Yuriy Kunak, at the Ukrainian Livestock Summit. He emphasized that the livestock sector is showing positive dynamics; however, to overcome the consequences of the war, it is necessary to implement innovations and develop production even more actively.

“Our sector is developing well today, but the war is a problem, so we must be independent: develop energy, biogas, and transition to biomethane. This is our goal, and we need to move more actively,” emphasized Yuriy Kunak.

Implementation of Energy-Efficient Solutions

Yuriy Kunak also highlighted that the company actively uses organic production waste to generate energy. The production of biogas at the facility helps meet the energy needs not only of the plant itself but also of the local community. However, there are currently difficulties in connecting new consumers to the energy system.
