NABU Conducts Searches at the Central Office and Regional Departments of the State Tax Service

Detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine conducted extensive searches at the central office and several regional departments of the State Tax Service. The operations took place on December 10 and covered both the main office in Kyiv and units in various regions.

Details of the Investigative Actions and Reasons for the Searches

It is specified that the searches were conducted among officials of the Main Departments of the State Tax Service in Khmelnytskyi and Mykolaiv regions, as well as at the central office of the agency. It is noted that these actions relate to a criminal proceeding connected with the activities of high-risk enterprises in 2024, which concluded in early 2025.

“On December 10, NABU detectives conducted searches of officials from the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Khmelnytskyi region and the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv region. Investigative actions also took place at the central office of the State Tax Service.”

Official Position and Further Actions

The press service of the State Tax Service emphasized that the details of the pre-trial investigation and other specifics of the case remain under the jurisdiction of law enforcement agencies. The leadership and employees of the State Tax Service assured that they fully cooperate with anti-corruption bodies and are open to collaboration. At the same time, NABU refrained from commenting on the progress of the investigative actions.
