NATO member countries have significantly increased their ammunition production, surpassing the Russian Federation, which had previously held the lead in this area. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during the Alliance forum. He emphasized that the threat from Russia will not disappear even after the war against Ukraine ends, as the RF will continue to be a destabilizing factor in Europe and the world.

Strengthening NATO’s Defense Capabilities
According to Mark Rutte, Russia is actively collaborating in the military sphere with China, North Korea, Iran, and other countries, leading to unprecedented expansion of defense cooperation. The Secretary General noted that NATO members already possess the most advanced systems that create a technological advantage, but they require even greater increases in production and operational supply of weapons.
“We need to advance progress in all areas, from high-quality air defense to affordable interceptor drones,” he concluded.
