NBU Raises Hryvnia Exchange Rate Against Dollar and Euro on June 12

The National Bank of Ukraine has announced the official exchange rates for Thursday, June 12, 2025. According to the updated data, the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the US dollar is set at 41.51 UAH per dollar, indicating a strengthening of the national currency by 5 kopecks compared to the previous day.

Official Euro Rate and Interbank Situation

For the euro, the official rate is 47.46 UAH per euro. Thus, the hryvnia has also shown an improvement, strengthening by 4 kopecks against the European currency.

On the interbank foreign exchange market in Ukraine, by 16:00, the hryvnia to dollar quotations were recorded in the range of 41.53–41.56 UAH per dollar. The euro rate on the interbank market fluctuated between 47.49–47.51 UAH per euro.

Dynamics of Hryvnia Strengthening

“The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro is set at 47.46 UAH/euro.”

The strengthening of the hryvnia against major world currencies marks a positive trend in Ukraine’s foreign exchange market. Experts observe an increase in confidence in the national currency among financial participants.
